Questions about drain cleaning
Should I use a chemical drain cleaner first?
We’d skip it. Chemical cleaners often don’t clear the clog, they can be hard on older pipes, and they make the job less safe for whoever opens the drain next.
Why does more than one drain back up at once?
When several drains act up together, especially the lowest ones in the house, the clog is often in the main line rather than a single fixture. Call and describe what you see.
